The best restaurant I've ever visited. Food, service and environment are amazing. It's an experience worth the trip, no matter how far you live.
Excellence for anything especially for the two iconic dish such as photo 1 and 2. The point is that it is called like cappuccino, but the mian ingredient is 🦑.
Secondly for the past (photo 5) and the photo 3 such as Milan Risotto.
Above dishes they are best in such restaurants i tried in Hong Kong, London , China mainland and Vienna.
(about the restaurant, not the unconnected hotel) incredible experience and food, only problem was there was a bit too much food! We booked for lunch and the Classics menu with wine pairings which I highly recommend. Favourites were the carbonara, bone marrow, risotto and the first cold tomato dish. Wish I could go back and eat it all over again!
Outstanding experience. I had the Classico Menu and the dishes made me discover new flavours I didn’t even think could exist. My favourites were the Cappuccino Murrina, the Risotto and the Fake Mozzarella! The only thing that was underwhelming was the Lamb that was nothing special. But overall worth the price 100%! The staff is very welcoming too.
This is a cool spot and probably worth a trip if you're visiting Venice. Very creative menu with enjoyable courses.
Leaving the busy commercial area, you enter the fabulous world of Le Calandre, a modern and essential room, impeccable service but also informal enough to desacralise the atmosphere and discover the world of Massimiliano Alajmo: three tasting menus, with ample opportunity to reduce and cross the dishes, which go from the restaurant's unmissable classics that have set the standard, such as the famous cappuccino of cuttlefish with black ink, to itineraries in which the chef never ceases to discover and experiment, to surprise and amaze. And if you want to take away a gastronomic souvenir, opposite the restaurant is their speciality shop.
Bittersweet experience that I’d rather avoid in the future. The food and the technique used in the kitchen are quite good. That being said, the service level is not how it should be from my experience, at a 3 Michelin star restaurant. There were two sommeliers in the hall we were dining in and unfortunately we were assigned one who was quite arrogant and definitely lacked professionalism, experience and technical knowledge. In addition to this, last night there was no Maitre D’ who came to introduce himself at the beginning of the evening, to whom we could signal this (as there usually is at a Michelin 3 Star restaurant). It is such a shame as mostly the rest of staff was friendly and the level of creativity of the dishes was noteworthy. I would advice to first consider other Michelin-starred restaurants around the area rather than going to Le Calandre.
One of the best meals we ever had. You wouldn’t expect a restaurant like this in rubano. Beautiful sereen decoration. Amazing staff. Nice detail that the chef came to our table. We also love to meet the creator. We had the classic menu which was surprising, amazing dishes. We were lucky that we had a table for lunch. We fell from one surprise into the next. We understand that this restaurant is rated as one of the best of the world. We will be back!
